Testimonials

I have been riding with the Trent Valley team for 6 years now, and I have loved every minute of it.
I discovered the centre through the University of Nottingham's Riding Club and began weekly lessons. At that point I had been riding for many years but had mainly been hacking out. I remember being really nervous about how to give the correct canter aids in my first lesson at Trent Valley! The team of staff, instructors, and horses were fantastic from day one, giving advice and instruction in all areas of equitation.
Once I was no longer able to ride in group lessons with the University I moved on to having weekly private lessons. This was a different experience to a group but hugely valuable and helped me to continue to develop my riding. The range of horses that Trent Valley has meant that I continued to ride horses that challenged me and allowed me to progress. Rose and her team were always very helpful at working out times that I could fit in a lesson to both their schedules and mine. It was a rare week that I missed a lesson - not even deep snow would stop me!

Six years on Rose has helped me find a horse on part-loan and by staying on the yard I am still able to benefit from her coaching. In addition lots of competitions take place on site, with monthly Trailblazers dressage, regular showjumping and Trent Valley Riding Club events, meaning that I have managed to get competition experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To top it all off, this season I have started Eventing, which for me is a dream come true. I would never have reached this stage without Rose and the Trent Valley team and for that I will always be eternally grateful!

Don't miss out, come and see what Trent Valley has to offer. I promise you won't regret it!

Our daughter has been riding at Trentvalley for 2 years and loves it. Apart from the great facilities, the friendly atmosphere created by the trentvalley team and fellow riders of all ages make it a real community that gives her the confidence to develop different skills and make new friends.
